The iconic Nzo Moonride will be held at the Waipa Mountain Bike Area off State Highway 5 and use the stunning Whakarewarewa Forest trails. The course will entail a mix of grade 2 – 3 mountain bike trails and forestry roads to allow for easy passing. The Moonride course will utilise trails such as Tahi, Creek, Lion, Turkish Delight and Rockdrop.
Muc Off 24 Hour Event: Teams of 4 – 5 or Solo riders
Nature Valley 12 Hour Event: Teams of 4 – 5 or Solo riders
Pig & Whistle 6 Hour Event: Teams of 2 – 5 or Solo riders
Teams ride the 9km circuit and complete as many laps as they can within the timeframe of their event. Tents, campervans and caravans pop up in the campsites which riders wind their way through each lap creating an electric atmosphere and unbelievable experience.
